NK has produced various Air Pressure Vessel to customers in order to obtain constant tension in the marine drilling riser. Air Pressure Vessel is connected to the Piston accumulators air-side in Marine riser tensioner system.
This means that the riser tensioner unit acts like a hydro/pneumatic spring by using the compressed air from Air Pressure Vessel.
